His Own Words
"Simon Horus Phoenix, 15,742 years old, born on the once war-torn, now lush world of Phoeneica. Simon is one of a Hybrid race of Phoeneician, the melding of Humanoid Terecians and the magical Phoenix, though he was born already melded together. He was taken from his homeworld shortly after his birth, and raised by his family's trusted guardian, Anubis Thunderman as they travelled from realm to realm and world to world. It was the hopes of his parents that Simon would earn a respect for life that other Phoenecians had grown complacent over. As Phoenecians are long-lived to begin with, the average among them tend to take their time with study and learning, often consuming several hundred years to explore new ideas. As Simon grew up among the shorter-lived races such as Humans, kenders, elves, dwarves, and so forth, he learned that not everyone has a long time to seek out their dreams, and that life, no matter how long or short its span may be, leaves its eternal impact on the Cosmos, from the smallest microbe to the greatest Gargantua. He came upon the land of RhyDin some years ago, and by chance met BlackDragon and AngelSin, and their associate OneStab at the Red Dragon Inn. A fateful encounter, and the use of Time Magic brought their children, Orion and Andromeda into the world sooner than natural cycles would have allowed, but such was needed to make sure their parents would live. Not long thereafter, Simon was forced to flee RhyDin, in order to encourage his lifelong nemesis, Elrani Blackthorne to pursue him. He returned shortly thereafter for a brief time to find that Black Dragon and AngelSin would soon be leaving RhyDin as the realm had become far too dangerous for any of them. Simon also joined this mass Exodus, but wandered off on his own trail for some years. Another twist of fate brought him to Arangoth, at which time he was reunited with Black Dragon and AngelSin... The rest, since then, is Arangoth History."
