Biography

It’s not known from where Ulfric hails, and if you ask he probably wouldn’t tell you anyway.

Separated from his tribe, Ulfric has been wandering the spirit realm for so long that he has forgotten where exactly he came from. For a while he just went from place to place, and in general tended to find much of the populace weak and wanted no part of it. After several years of this, he grew tired of the constant wandering and decided the next place he emerged would be where he would settle down.

Siveth was where he ended up, a little north of Drache. There was fresh game, monsters to hunt, and fights to be had. In short, he’d found his new home. That only left the tricky subject of finding work, because every civilization required money for pretty much everything. It was easy enough to get a job on the docks. With his size and strength he has no trouble moving cargo onto and off ships without the help of other dock workers or fancy things like pulleys.

Personality

Ulfric, like many of his specific sort, loves to fight. To die a hero in battle is the ultimate goal. He can be brash and direct, and has absolutely no shame. He is actually very intelligent, but because he does not speak much people tend to think the opposite.

Physical Description

In human form, Ulfric stands topping out at 7', and is the picture of a man hailing from northern territories. He generally wears piecemeal armor, bits here and there, randomly thrown in with lighter leather armor and furs. The man is not hugely bulky, but he is still built quite proportional to his height, with thick corded muscle beneath lightly tanned skin, which bears several scars. Deep brown hair is longer, and usually left to hang loose, though does keep some longer strands tied back. He has a single tattoo on his chest on the left side over his heart, along with a full sleeve tattoo on his right arm and chest.

In his wolf and dire wolf forms, he stands around 4' and 6' at the shoulders respectively, with gray fur that deepens into darker browns as it goes up along his back. His regular wolf form is sleek and built for the speed of the hunt, while his dire wolf form is built for raw, brutal power.

In his bipedal war wolf form (most commonly known for werewolves), he stands between 10.5' and 11' tall with black claws on both hands and feet. His musculature is proportional to his size, pulled straight from his human form and upscaled for the wolfen frame.

Ulfric has heterochromia, his left eye is blue and his right eye is green. All of his forms have this trait. All of his forms bare scars in the same areas, just twisted and shifted around dependent on the form he is in. Because of his multiple trips through the spirit realm, his aging has slowed considerably. Unlike some werewolves where the lycanthropy is a curse or rendered through the bite of another, Ulfric was born a werewolf, though whether he was born as a human or a wolf is unknown.

Fangs of the North

  • Blue smoke rolls off of the werewolf’s claws and teeth, which are transformed into curving daggers of hardened ice. Wounds inflicted with these terrible weapons turn black and fester, all the warmth and life driven out of them.

Berserker's Song

  • The werewolf can sing himself into a controlled frenzy. He can ignore wounds, shift to war-form immediately, and he is immune to many mental spells and charms. In this state, unlike a normal frenzy, the werewolf can pull out of the frenzy at any time.

Fenris' Bite

  • The werewolf’s already vicious bite increases in power terribly, to the point that the werewolf can mangle or even sever limbs with a single bite.
