Karos was a descendant of Neskos, the griffon hero who had completed the griffon conquest of the formerly human Kingdom of Vallaria about a century before the start of the Arangothian Era.

	Rewop also abandoned his castle in Outer Arangoth, located just a bit to the west of [[Caern]]. Banditry and lawlessness had been the norm in Griffon's Aerie for over a decade, and the kingdom was still far from safe. Karos' son, Prince Eno Nesohc, was secretly engaged to marry Sara Jade Swallowstripe of the Gypsy caravan located near Rewop's former castle, and planned to reveal his intentions to his father. However, while returning to Griffon's Aerie in late Evening Star (December), Prince Eno was waylaid by bandits and murdered at a place known as the Broken Carriage.

Karos was a descendant of Neskos, the griffon hero who had completed the griffon conquest of the formerly human Kingdom of Vallaria about a century before the start of the Arangothian Era. However, while returning to Griffon's Aerie in late Evening Star (December), Prince Eno was waylaid by bandits and murdered at a place known as the Broken Carriage.
