Korthai Language
The common Korthai language. combines phrases and concepts from several languages, attributed to the high degree of cultural intermixing.

Grammar
Verb Suffixes
Various suffixes can be added to a root verb to form to make nouns, adjectives, and participles.
Paradigm: kokh- = to see.
-al = nomen agentis, someone who does something. kokhal = the seer.
-lash = negative form of the above, someone who does not do something. kokhlash = the non-seer.
-az = someone to whom something is being done. kokhaz = the one who is seen.
-sash = negative form of the above, someone to whom something is not done. kokhsash = the one who is unseen.
The following, when used as adjectives, take the ending -o; as substantives, they take no ending.
-alg = active participle. kokhalg = [the] seeing [person].
-laksh = negative form of the above. kokhlaksh = [the] unseeing [person]
-azg = passive participle. kokhazg = [the] seen [person].
-saksh = negative form of the above. kokhsaksh = [the] unseen [perso]
-onn = able to do something. kokhonn = 'able to see'
-mash = unable to do something. kokhmash = 'unable to see,' 'blind'
-alann = able to have something done to it. kokhalann = 'able to be seen, visible'
-lamash = unable to have something done to it. kokhlamash = 'unable to be seen, invisible.'
-yat = abstract noun. kokhyat = 'sight,' a 'vision' or 'image'
-alyat = the act of doing something. kokhalyat = 'the act of seeing' -- etc.
-mat = ability to do something. kokhmat = 'vision,' 'ability to see'
-mashet = inability to do something. kokhmashet = 'inability to see,' 'blindness'
Noun Suffixes
Gender-based suffixes: -id (male) and -enn (female).
Paradigm: khonn, a type of ship. (Note that -nn changes to -mm- before a vowel, Y excluded.) khommai, ships.
khonn-va, 'of the ship'
khommai-va, 'of the ships'
khonn-valt, something which is of the ship.
khonn-te, 'to the ship' [the ending -te may be related to the Assi vocative case]
khommai-te, 'to the ships'
khonn-shi, 'from the ship'

khonnshilt, something which is from the ship
khonn-la, 'the place of the ships' or 'shipdom' or 'the world navigable by sea.'

These endings can combine with the above in various ways, e.g.:
