Reugar arrived in Drache several years ago, a somewhat haggard man at the time, seeming dogged by whatever forced him to leave his homeland. He was a man of consummate skill with sword and shield, and also a passable archer. So, when after a time, he applied to be a guard, he was accepted. He was originally assigned to the Warf District guardhouse. The work seemed to agree with him, as he was able to clean himself up and get his life together. It wasn't long, however, before he had discovered that there was a fair amount of corruption within the guard down by the docks.
The revelation was a difficult one for him, being a believer in both justice and the law. He struggled for some time with what he should do - leaving the guard was an option he considered. However, he eventually determined that it was his duty to bring them all to justice, and so he began collecting evidence. His investigation culminated in a mass arrest of several of the guard as they were in the middle of smuggling in contraband. The operation, however, did not earn him any friends in the Warf District guardhouse, and so, when Commander Cursor personally offered to endorse a transfer to the main guardhouse, he eagerly accepted.
Reugar is a man of slightly above average height, with long light brown hair, and a well kept beard with some touches of grey in it. His eyes are also grey in colour, and his face is unmarred by scarring. He has a strong looking build, and often wears plate armor. It's not unusual to see him with a sword, a shield, a bow, and arrows as weaponry. He wears the cloak and pin of the guard proudly.
Talents, Skills, Quirks
Reugar has demonstrated the following: Impressive aptitude with sword and shield, fair archery skills, investigative acumen, and he is well spoken. It is unlikely that these are the extent of his abilities.
Reugar has a tendency to be very polite when conducting himself in public, and also has a clear devotion to the notion of justice.
