The Thymvraan Oak is a hardy tree that lives well through all the seasons, it grows quickly and the teal leaves that spread over its branches only fall when the individual leaf dies and new only grow if the leaves are taken from the tree. There is no 'fall' of the leaves and as so they are a fixed and almost constant sight on the Pentland scenery. Perhaps because of this constancy they are the tree represented on the flag of their home country. | |||

Because of the properties of these trees, the oaks are a closely guarded Pentlander national treasure, fiercely protected by Kargaan Rangers and the Royal Navy.
