Antara-Ethcabar is a free port city located at the mouth of the [[Nie River]]. It is known as Antara in [[Limbri]], the language of [[Rondis]], or Ethcabar in [[Language of Aslar|Aslarian]]. It was originally founded and controlled by an early Rondissian empire in the early days of the iron age, two thousand years ago. In those near forgotten days, a fledgling collection of cities and farms stretched from the sea to the desert along the [[Nie Valley]], including the city of Telemenx/[[Taranor]]. However, the arrival of tribes who would one day become known as the [[Assi]] drove Rondissian power to its current stronghold in the [[Connemara Mountains]], leaving the well-defended Antara-Ethcabar in control of its own fate. | |||
