Called so for their dusky grayish hue that refracts heat better then darker colors, these herd animals are large in both size and strength. Over 5 ft high at the shoulder as long as 9 feet and weighing over a ton even Tigers have problem taking down these animals. In winter these animals shed their gray coat for an even paler version. Only one calf per cow but these animals are fiercely protective of all children they have as the young ones are often surrounded by the elders when running.
