This massive animal DOES become lighter in the winter like the wolves. But the coat is a paler shade of orange anyway. This cat does carry stripes throughout it's forearms ( unlike TRUE Siberians). Stripes different to each cat like a human's fingerprint and fur is shaggier as this animal prefers colder weather. Killing is done by a forepaw swipe to the neck, snapping it for smaller prey and biting the neck for the same result. ( cleaner then most animals.)
