Biography
Velcretia, and her twin brother, Velsarius, were born during the creation of the Dreamlands. Considered the daughter of Raven Father, she has no known mother and is thought to have just been summoned into being by Raven Father. Both she and her brother are thought of as fae demi-gods, though the actual scope of their power and domain has never been catalogued. The twins share a single heart, which looks much like a fist size ruby that is clearly riven town the middle. The two halves were fused together and kept in their palace that sits atop a cliff overlooking the Fithran city.
She does not recall having a childhood as a mortal would reckon such things, but she does remember the world being fresh. It is the duty of the Raven Twins to steward the Fithran of the Dreamlands, to keep the Nightmare Realm safely sequestered behind its walls, and to guard the dreams of mortals. Velcretia has faithfully fulfilled her duty, save for the lapse of jealousy and rage that she felt when her twin became enamored of a mortal woman. This led to a long period of instability for her, and she wandered the Nightmare Realms for an untold amount of time. The fel energies and the beings that lurk in that world welcomed their Princess. Cradled in their negativity, Velcretia was molded and warped into a creature of great avarice.
Enraged by the idea of her beloved brother falling in love with a mortal girl of a sunlit world, Velcretia stole their heart and went on the run. She visited mortal realms and wandered long after the death of Velsarius's mortal lover. Velcretia kept their heart with her at all times, chained to her belt. There was great danger in the possible loss or theft of the twins' heart, but she was heedless of these possibilities.
